Chat privacy
The portfolio assistant uses OpenAI to answer questions using the project and experience information on this site and additional background approved by Kyaw for public discussion. It cannot browse his repositories, private files or other conversations. AI answers can be wrong; case-study links support the facts published on those pages.
What is sent
Your question, conversation context, the project you’re viewing and approved portfolio background are sent to OpenAI when you submit a question. In a long conversation, older messages may be summarized by OpenAI to keep useful context alongside recent messages. Please leave out confidential or sensitive information.
What is kept
This website keeps the conversation and any summaries in browser memory. Reset clears the current page’s conversation and summary; reloading or switching languages clears all conversations. The application does not save or log chat transcripts. Usage controls keep request times, cost counters and random request identifiers, without message content. To give each visitor a fair daily limit, they also keep a scrambled code made from your network address; it changes every day, can't be turned back into the address and is dropped after that day. Records older than 32 days are removed when the assistant is next used.
Requests use OpenAI’s storage-disabled setting. That does not mean zero retention: OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring data for up to 30 days under its standard API policy.
